Moving education: Swiss school workshops for sustainability and solidarity
Many children and young people want to get involved, but don’t know how. At the same time, schools are looking for ways to teach topics such as the environment, justice and climate protection in a practical way. This is exactly where we come in:
Our workshops promote awareness, empathy and initiative – values that strengthen a generation that will shape our future.
Our school workshops combine learning, movement and meaning. Children and young people experience how they can become part of something big with a simple action – by making real change possible through sport, knowledge and solidarity. Together with teachers, we develop teaching units, workshops and fundraising runs that make sustainability, the circular economy and social responsibility tangible. The concept is easy to implement, effective and motivating – for schools that take a holistic approach to education.
How it works
Teachers receive a fully developed concept with all materials, schedules and video content.
On request, our speakers can come to the school in person, give interactive presentations or accompany the fundraising runs on site. The implementation requires little effort, but creates a high impact:
Children experience responsibility as something positive.
Classes grow together through joint action.
Schools become ambassadors for sustainability and global solidarity.
After the campaign, we stay in contact with the schools: Classes receive photos, presentations and videos from Ghana that show what their efforts have achieved – which buildings have been built, which children can now learn or how plants financed by their donations are growing.
In this way, the learning process continues – from action to concrete impact, from idea to visible change.
The donations collected flow directly into our educational and environmental projects in Ghana – such as the construction of schools, vocational training centers and sustainable agricultural projects.
This creates a real connection between children here and young people there – across continents, based on shared values.
